Sierra Auto to manual conversion
Im just wondering whats involved in converting a 1989 sierra 2l dohc from auto to manual. A step by step guide would be great, or if anyone has info such as a list of all parts I need etc it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi Conor,
I did this to mine a few years back.
I went the easier route of using a left hand drive MT75 gearbox, otherwise you will need a UK specific DOHC sump for your engine.
I'm afraid I can't remember all the details - there is a lot, quite a long list of parts when you get into it.
What I can remember off the top of my head (it's early!)
MT75 gearbox.
MT75 propshaft.
DOHC Flywheel.
DOHC flywheel bolts.
Spigot bearing (for back of crank)
Clutch kit.
Clutch cable.
Clutch cable dust boot.
Clutch cable grommet.
Speedo cable.
DOHC sump & gasket.
I really can't think at the minute but that will give you a good while on ebay
