That was a beautiful car and a worthy winner. I was glad the RS500 that has recently had a complete rebuild with the help of Paul linfoot did 'nt win although it looked brand new it was nice to see something very different get the top prize.

if you can ignore all the masses of new cars at a so called classic show its not bad, but numbers on what we call classics are well down as most simply storing them away for investments or too scared to bring them out Glenn

I like the newer fords but they arnt special enough for me.

I agree about people not using them. I think this is cause of the price of the cars the parts and I think people are scared in case they get damaged or parts pinched of there cars.

They put all the Saffs together where I put mine.

My Saff is still one of the best around, I had loads of people interested in it all day!!

I put all the info on what I have done to mine on the windscreen.

There were quite a few 100e/Prefects on display.<br/>A lot had different engines etc.

Standard one.

Bit more power than the old side valve engine !!

What a neat engine bay!!

Mean looking Anglia 105e with space framed front end.

I bet it goes well!!

Another nice Anglia

Mk2 Escort Rally car.

Tasty RS 2000.

Bit of power in there!

Racing RS2000.

Cossy powered Mk2 Escort.

Nice Mk1 Escort

Bubble arched Mk1 Escort. Perfect!!

Mk1 Cortina GT

1600e with Cossy engine.

Another nice Mk1 Cortina

Very tidy engine bay.

I think this dragster should have some big power!!

Very cool Drag racing Pop van.

Very worthy winner of the Show And Shine.

Mk1 Consul Ute with massive BMW engine.

Nice Ford Pop dagster

Zephyr V8 Lovely install !!

Thanks for posting the video, I wonder if something broke to lose traction at that speed and late in the run. Sorry to see as it was quite a heavy bump.

I was there early and I did'nt see very many on trailers. Apart from the dragsters I think most were driven to the show.

Very friendly guy, had lots of conversation with him and his partner. PJ Motorsport engine in his, bit more bhp than mine. He liked my Saff and I kept an eye on his Escos when he went for a look round and he did the same for me when I had a wander. He lives in Poole I think he said.
