Also Harvey Gibbs.

Pick a TUNER and go with their ideas. Also you will get some type of guarantee. Cossie engines for big power is not cheap...

Do it once do it right.

I presume his car is an m.a.d car anyway. The dyno graph is on the m.a.d Facebook page. Just over 700bhp

Yes, Harvey built my engine. 2.2 was Ł26k+ I believe and did 710 or 730 Bhp.

Oppliger looks to do some pretty impressive builds if someone fancies a little holiday lol. He has a very impressive workshop space and looks to have a huge parts supply

So starting to get to the engine
TBH I’m more after a reliable engine for a road car
Been told a good 400 bhp is good for a road car but I’m thinking more close to 500
It’s more about the engine being strong and reliable than mad power
I’ve got a 200 block which I’ve had for years
One bore had a mark in that I don’t think will hone out
So thinking liners, stud kit etc
I’m confident when it comes to engine building but it’s all the tricks a specialist would know to get the best from it

How does yours feel on the road. I’m most likely going to follow the 9180 route but have been chatting with mark about maybe dropping a turbo size as 600-650 is probably doable on a smaller turbo

Right spec engine can do that on 7670, (630 iirc) The 9180 is needed to go for the bonkers over 700.
