Default Fitting a black top Zetec / Mk1 Focus RS engine into a mk5 fiesta Zetec S?

I have a mk5 Zetec S fiesta with a Puma engine. I want to spend a few grand and make it around 250 - 300bhp. I would like to build a forged blacktop Zetec with just a FRS inlet and exhaust manifold, rebuilt and updated gt28 with a front mount, stand alone management ect.

how hard is the conversion to do? I’ve had a few Zetec’s in Mk4 escort, mk2 fiesta’s ect- but this looks a bit of a different setup- mainly the engine and box mounts? No cradle ect?

Also what is the easiest gearbox route?

Would appreciate any advise!

Cheers

I've just done it to a friends.
Blacktop turbo and mtx box.
I made the engine mounts, modified the fiesta rear torque arm, crazycage had modified the shafts.
I've fitted it in and it looks factory.

This is something I'm thinking of also, I've got a mk5 zetec s but not done anything with it yet. Over on zsoc they swear the puma engine is the way to go but i keep hearing from people like yourself saying its not enough.
I think i would be happy with a st170 lump tbh, there so cheap atm.
