I am researching for a new book on the mark 3 and mark 4 Gartrac Escorts, covering the development, history and successes of the G3, G4 and especially the G6.

These cars date back to the early 1980's and although not an 'official' Ford model, are considered by many as a true Ford thoroughbred. Very rare, they have an interesting evolution that deserves to be documented.

i am looking for any information from current or previous owners. In fact anything interesting or relevant from anyone willing to share their experience or knowledge. Of course any information received will be treated in the strictest confidence. Nothing will be used without prior consent.

i am looking to compile a detailed and accurate account of these fascinating cars. It would be good to get details of as many original cars as possible. Technical stuff and personal stories, all welcome.
