Default Holset hx35 on 2wd cosworth exhaust manifold

I'm going to be fitting a hx35 turbo to my car sometime in the new year,I've swapped to a 2wd exhaust manifold and bought an anembo engineering spacer, the turbo now bolts onto the manifold but I can't rotate the compressor housing to get it into a good position, does anybody have any other ideas at all please

Not other than sell that and buy a turbo more suited.

According to this there's a snap ring on the back of the compressor housing.

Check to see if it’s a twin scroll housing that only bleads the wastegate boost of one side of the housing if it is it’s a bodge and should never be fitted to a petrol engine

Sorry didn't write what I meant correctly, there is a snap ring yes but the compressor housing touches the head so can't go round any further than how it is in the picture

Could get Anembo to make up some spacers to go between manifold and head and use longer studs...

I did think about that but was wondering how others have fitted them to cars aswell unless a lot of others have used tubular manifolds, might possibly be a bigger exhaust housing than what I'm looking for as i will be converting to external wastegate aswell
