Not used Duracell. Lion are a budget range through euro car parts to my knowledge. Seen people slate Lion but the only one I've used was fine.

I always stick with Bosch. Although I didn't realise how much some car batteries are. The battery failed on my wife's 120d the other day so I had to get a new one. Told her it would be about £80. How wrong was I! Nearly fell over when the bloke in the shop said £172! The cheaper one was £150 but I still went for the Bosch. 4 year warranty with it as well.

Some of the batteries for cars with StopStart technology are mega bucks.

I've had 4 batteries out of Halfords the last 3 years for various cars and have all been great.

Not had many dealings with Duracell car batteries but have with Lion batteries, they're shit imo.

I don't think much of Bosch batteries either but folk seem to like them because they're Bosch.

We use Yuasa batteries and they seem pretty good.

We use varta battery’s at work and they seem really good and every varta battery we’ve replaced has been on the car for well over 5 years. We carry a Bosch battery too for the stop start stuff

I’ve used yuasa and Duracell, yuasa in a A8 d3 that users a lot of juice and was fine, I had a Duracell in a mk3 Mondeo with smart charge and again that was fine too 👍
