I found on mine which has got quite sloppy pistons the Fuchs oil was good except on trackdays when giving it full death it smoked on overrun
So have gone back to Castrol was Edge now called Supercar oil or something daft.
The oil pressure is actuly not as good but no smoking which stops the marchells moaning.
Cheers Tim

I have use Redline oil as it is a Polyol ester bases oil so resists cracking very well (good in turbos). They have at least 10w60 10w40 and 15w50. Film strength is very high, this is the ability for the oil to stop metal on metal wear.
There is even a whole forum dedicated to motor oils that I have found too if you want:

i have used redine for a while now and always been ok for me. In my BMW the service interval went from 15000 to 18600 after using it. that one is still going strong after 200,000 miles.

Just about to order my oil as doing an oil
Change on Friday. Have found this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F181220503510
Seems to be the best option? I have ran the car on Mobil 1 for years and so has my mate but everyone is saying that this is not good to use anymore?
