Default Bestek jump starter

Bestek model BTCS001

I bought this charger after reading some reviews and if I remember rightly some questions on here? I haven't managed to get the thing to work once!

Is there something wrong with the bloody thing? Am I doing something wrong?

It's pissing me right off!!

50 quid on amazon lol don’t sound like it will ever work. I’ve a small one like that I keep in my tool box I can’t remember the make cost about 300 quid. But it’s impressed me. We mainly work on trucks but a few vans. Mines started a few big 3 1/2 ton vans now with ease

We trialled a few of these cheap ones at work and they were totally useless. Seems it's only the ones that cost hundreds of pounds that actually work, same story in the normal sized jump pack world

I have one that was around £100 or more and it is fantastic, I have used it a lot and I used it to start my mates jag v8 5.2 and that uses a massive battery.

I used to have an Earth problem on the cossie and it went dead all the time, I used the jump pack loads on that.

That looks like amazing technology to me, how can something so small do such a good job? My Phaze 4 in 1 works well but is quite bulky.

That’s the one I have been looking at. Seems to have great reviews.
