I think they should last as long as the car but you need to be careful that a tyre fitter doesn't sink the wheel on the disc and chip the discs.

you have them weighed, they have a weight limit to replace them.

they are supposed to last 60-100k miles iirc, but it’s all relative to the use they get, i’d like to think a v12 q7 would probably see the lower end of the scale due to it being inherently heavy on brakes.

my whole fleet probably doesn’t even come to that figure

they are suposed to be on another level though, I know someone who has Aston Martin ceramics on his b5 rs4 and he says when you feel like you’ve gone waaayy past the point of no return before a bend that’s when you can brake and even then you’ve braked too early

resurrecting an old thread... I have an Audi Q7 6.0 V12 and have the same swirl flap issue. @scoooby slayer how did you sort it in the end?

@scoooby slayer Hi again. The people I spoke to (Darkside) said the intake had to be removed for the swirl flap delete.... that's an engine out job. At that point I may as well replace the intake. Were you able to code out the swirl flap without physically removing the flaps?
