And I fully agree, a UK company that makes top product that can perform all over the world in some of the fastest cars etc is great.

That's why I use Syvecs !
Yes of course, full throttle is where its at lol

If you assume all cars run only full throttle ?

Would make for a rather impractical car.

Who said ecu's are only used on drag cars ?

ECU's are actually fitted a aide variety of cars, strangely enough. Road, race, whatever. Boats too and perhaps even some aircraft.

And I clearly said cars ?

If the GEMS software works for them, that's great. I never said to you or anyone not to use it.

I just said I found it bloody terrible compared to every other ecu I've used ! Everyone else is welcome to their own opinion.

How did you managed the prop coming out of the water Mark?

They just had normal rev limits on them and the F1 ski boat had already been mapped so I was tweaking it and I could only map them on a calm day so we could hold a top speed.
All where big block engines one was twin t61 turbos and the other was twin 800hp 800ftlb super charged.

Apparently they suffer really badly from valve train issues when banging on the rpm limiters when the prop dips in and out of the water.

This system I have been working on is traction control for power boats believe it or not. Bloody good.

it is a good budget ecu but the company does not care about its distributors as it screwed all them a few years ago. It's about box shifting so I would never sell one of there units.
