** 3 Door Sierra Cosworth Boot lid Warning Light ** **
3 door Cosworth warning light on dash showing boot lid is open even thoe the boot lid is closed. Also the ariel does not go up any 1 have any idea what it could be?

Not sure on boot indicator can't remember what mine does. 
Electric aerial is easy enough. Autoleads do a close copy of the original ford unit. I got mine off eBay for about £35 a few years ago. Works perfect. Got a different connector so have to modify wiring a little.
Check first the signal wire and that it has a 12v supply.

You need to remove the cover on the inside of the boot lid as from memory it's the lock setup that tells the dash that the boot is open and if it's been setup that if the boot is open the aerial will go down and not come up till the boot lock says it's closed
