are you using the standard recirculation valve and the boost control valve?
id like to retain my spec r dump valve,i know you can buy a blank for the turbo but has anyone done it?
can i just use my air injectors instead of the boost control valve?

I don't run a separate dump valve but have the internally gated 7076 and it makes the best noises...it sounds like an 80s/90's rally cross car....in fact since the carpets have gone in I am missing some of the wastegate flutter.

Not that I am aware of, I much prefer the sound of a wastegate compared to dump valve. Mark Shead specced mine and fitted it so he could comment on exact spec.

Can you run 'normal' dump valves ok with these as they have the 'built in' dump valve on the turbo (I think)?

Yes, sorry...that lovely fluttery sound! It reminds me of the group B cars flying through the forest stages. am I wrong to call it a waste gate then? My 7076 is known as "internally gated" I assumed that meant "waste"-gated?

You're right Toby it is the waste gate, the noise you refer to is compressor stall, all the smart kids seem to know that but would rather laugh at you than educate you.
Seems to be the norm with a few people on here

Thanks for the info Dave, I am aware that the dump valve is designed to stop the compressor stall and I am glad that you confirmed that I do actually have the waste gate Lol. Mark Shead told me that I could remove the Bailey dump valve as the borg was able to run without it. Am i right in saying that the Borg deals with the "dump" itself and is not harmed by the setup...I have total trust in Mark and I know that if i needed one I would have it and if I didn't need it then he would simplify the system.....hence we were able to junk the stand alone boost controller by Greddy.

Without a dump valve the flutter noise/chatter is air going back through the turbo compressor and the blades chopping the air creating that noise

Oh dear. Mark has told me I will only have the Dump Valve on the Turbo & my mega neat Black Spec-R one wont be used. Gave me the technical reason why its not good so no second dump valve. I so wanted to be gay but Mark wont let me.

How about 3, would that cancel out the reason why you cant have two lol...maybe that's just bisexual?
