Default fitting oil gauge sensors to a cosworth lump

got my oil pressure and temp gauge to fit, got a T piece to fit both sensors, but where on the block do they go?

Ive seen some people have fitted it just above the oil filter, but on my engine ive got a braided pipe from the turbo plumed in there, i think. Plus accessing it it crap, just no room?

is there anywhere else people fit them thats easy to do?

i fitted my 2wd yb where the oil pressure switch goes inbetween where the starter and mowdime/oil filter area. theres adapters/fittings on ebay it will take the oil pressure switch as well i think it comes of the main oil gallery there. feed the pipe through the bulkhead on the same side theres a handy grommit near the top over the ecu happy days

I use the escort cos 2 way adapter, it allows the senders to be angled into a good position away fromthe inlet

For oil temperature, you can get adaptors to put them in the sump plug hole.

I used a remote braided jobbie from Burtons from oe oil port in block, then used a 3 port block, mine is on an escort and I have my oil feed/AIM oil sensor and oe VDO unit on there, mounted the port block by making a bracked and using a p clip next to the engine mount

Mine was done with inlet off, but also as I have a wrc breather there it makes it even less accessible, I had to run what I have as I still needed to use the original VDO unit, Saph's don't have that

Yes mate it is where the factory oil pressure switch is. You need to T off that for the gauge. And you can get an adaptor for oil temp gauge which replaces the sump plug.
