There's nothing wrong with G19 sumps, more than any other converted sumps out there, i've had mine for years now, same as mates and nothing wrong at all

Someone had an issue with the gated baffle, now it was nothing to do with the work of G19. The guy who eventually built the engine made it clear the sump had been plated on the inside so the baffle didn't fit correct resulting in parts breaking off and causing the issue.

I have one and have no issues at all, my mate has just rebuilt his old motor with the same gear and it's old and again everything surrounding those parts are perfect

Had my sump done by scs good job and they recommended using the original baffle not the gated type. I'd recommend heli coiling the sump plug while u have the sump off, went to change my oil today and the threads came out with the plug!

It seemed to be more of delivery times and failed promises rather than shoddy workmanship

You might need to increase the n/s front spring rate

Andy Gallagher modified a 2wd sump in the same way to clear a front drive shaft so could be used in 4x4 format but with engine moved further back I wonder if the fabricator of that sump did the same?

you can see in the bottom of that sump where the pickup must of been rubbing/touching,maybe that was his oil starvation problem

The marks are likely caused by a gated baffle assembly
