does anybody knows where I can find Recaro seats for my mk3 mondeo estate?

They come up on eBay quite often and also there's quite a few Mondeo pages on FaceBook like the Mondeo ST & ZS sales page. I tried to put a link but apparently passionford doesn't like it.
There's a different in wiring between pre (2001-2004) and post-facelift (2004-2007 cars so it's easier if you get one from a similar aged vehicle.

Yes,the heated seats come on randomly and cook your butt and legs if the wrong year seats are used.

He's not wrong. Great seats when they're wired in properly though, very comfy.

St220 hatch should be a direct fit. As above wiring looms are differant, and not just the seats. Steering wheel is nice as well with a little st badge. I think the centre console is differant also.

I've got a 2004 St220 with black Recaros that I am going to break soon. Get your self over to the uk and by the 18" wheels and body kit to go with it.

Ive just won a recaro interior on ebay the other day for my mondy zetec s. Some of the prices for them are a fortune.

Imo 500 quid is too dear for a set.

Black Glenn? I quite fancied the red interior for my silver estate but ended up replacing it with a performance blue one and i dont think the red would go.

That's full interior, four 18" alloys, the body kit and as much shit as you could salvage.

Thanks for the tip, I didn't knew the wiring was different!
I check ebay regularly and hope to find something soon. My car already has the ST bumperkit from factory. It's a 2006 Silver 2.2 tdci estate!
It has never let me down once! I was thinking of selling it, but it's just too good!!! So I'm looking for a few upgrades

Mines an estate as well, really happy with it, a little underpowered compared to the performance models from other manufacturers but aside from that it's been great.

Big wasa i paid 120 for the front and back seats. The side bolster needs a bit of tlc but imo they were too cheap to turn down.

I blagged myself a brand new leather recaro from an st220 off ebay a few years ago. Only paid 20-30 quid for it. Turned it into a computer chair. Still got it in my mum and dads garage!

Has anyone got around the airbag light coming on when fitting pre facelift seats to a facelift? fitted st220 recaros into my facelift st tdci and the air bag light is on.

Is there a flash code on the dash from the air bag light.

My mate has a 02 reg mondeo zetec s which had the face lift seats in. I tried one in my 53 reg mondeo and the airbag light was flashing. The flash code was 16. Which is the seat belt buckle/pretensioner.

the earlier seats come with occupancy sensors plus extra wires in the pretensioner

swpping seats around means you have to change the location of some of the electrical connections and the wiring up of the heated/cooled versions is a nightmare to get right
