Fitting Transit connect starters to cossie.
Have people done this? Is there any difference in how they start the engine? Also are they a straight bolt on fit or do you have to drill the bolt holes out?

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
If its 2wd its a direct fit, 4x4 requires the threads drilling out the bolt holes
They're a bit more powerfull than standard, as they're meant for turning over a high comp diesel

I'd be interested in knowing if they can be fitted to a zetec turbo black top

When the starter packed up on my 2wd while I was away from home I popped into a scrappy who had a CVH starter clean and on the shelf. £12 and it worked fine for months. I did swap it for a proper one as I was never sure how long my luck would last. It was 6 months in the planning tho lol.
