Default 2011 transit connect transmission replacement

Hi, I have a 2011 transit connect 2.0L automatic transmission needs replacement. I have an automatic from a 2006 focus 2.0. Now i've been told this should be exactly the same. Does anyone know if it is plug and play? Or is there any wiring work to be done?

Thanks.

I dont see why not. Ive only ever removed manual gearboxes from transit connects. Some people remove the sub frame. I just use a vehicle sissor jack and put between the sub frame and engine and wind the jack out so it pushes the engine across so you can get the gearbox out.

I remember doing something similar on t4 transporters with the 5 cylinder engine when doing clutches years ago used to use a wind up jack and block of wood to push the engine and box forward to get the gearbox past the subframe
