Default Hydraulic clutch.

Guys, I've got an issue with a hydraulic clutch.
The problem is that it engages virtually instantly with no free play, normally there's always an inch of pedal travel before the clutch starts to bite.
Both slave cylinders are new and there's no air, clutch doesn't slip and the push rods are at there max setting length wise.
Obviously, it's getting very difficult to park, in traffic etc.
Any ideas? Buggered clutch plate maybe?

You can buy longer throw rods for the master cylinder but if it worked before and now doesn't then I would be looking at the clutch.

Worth trying the back fill technique to make sure no air is trapped using a syringe. Also, have you checked that master and slave are correct and not faulty units?

And as Caddy alluded to.

Is this a new build, has it ever worked correctly etc etc etc ? History is always important.

And what car, what fitment etc ?

POS Hyundai..
Too embarrassed to mention the bloody thing..
I also thought about putting in a longer push rod, I'm worried that the clutch might slip though.
Weird one this.

The slave cylinder is external on accents, so you can check the travel
Look at the lever on the gearbox and get somebody to press the clitch pedal fully
If the leaver is moving its full travel then its likely a clutch prob
If the lever still has some travel left then its a hyd problem

I'll do as suggested guys, my main problem being that I'm always alone so nobody to push the dam pedal. I reckon it's new clutch time regardless.
I'm wondering if this heap has a DMF??
