Default Does anyone know this Flint Grey Saff? G979 TRC

Hi,

As per title,

This car was on eBay due to go on at auction. Looked nice and a half decent spec but I'm assuming it sold at auction and now a trader has it up for sale at £15,995.

Should I be concerned the previous owner put it through auction? just seems a bit strange to do that!

I am interested but don't know if it's over priced at £15,995?

Front splitter is aweful and shock tower looks to have had work unless its the camera, looks pretty good to me though from the pictures, if I was looking for one it's definitely one I'd view.

Not a bad looking car from the pics, must've been painted recently IMO, rivets missing from skirts, as said above under bonnet looks a bit dodgy to me also possible dent drivers door on bottom or just an odd reflection? Front panel under lights is wrong probably to compensate for missing wipers, also it's been de-locked too. ISCV not hooked up so that would need cleared up why.

Would warrant a good going over for that price and on a ramp (as with any car of this age and price). I quite like it but wouldn't want to entertain it at that price.

Thanks for the replies, over priced by the looks of it as per all the other saffs!

When it was on ebay it had no skirts fitted....
Im guessing the guy has spent a few hundred quid on it and now just hiked the price up.
I recon he paid around 11/12K for it at that auction?
It aint worth 16k imo.
And not that it matters that much but the cold valve has been disconnected in the pics

Cheers Paul

Mine was done in the 1990s (proper welded) and it used to be a great idea but now it never gets parked anywhere I can't see it normally so now it doesn't seem so great when I restore it mine needs new doors anyway so it'll have locks back in it

The two offside doors were badly dented and rippled but I can get a pair of doors for £50 each so not too bad to replace

When my cossie first got sprayed it had a mint back bumper but i think the divvys left the bumper on a stand for to long so the bottom of the bumper was out of shape. I got another bumper but its baggy in the middle.

I wouldn't touch a car from Bradford, London or Birmingham. Each to their own though.

Hi, This is my old saph I had all the work done to it. Just looked at the advert and advert is false. It didn't have any service history when I bought it in 2008 and I was the 3Rd owner. I sold it January 2016 to 2 blokes who were in the trade so they filled logbook out in motor trade section so my name is still probably as the last registered keeper. It's a good car I did loads to it but it's definitely over priced at that
