Default Can anyone ID this key?

As title, can anyone id what car this style of key comes from? It's from my mk4 Escort, which is a C-reg, so i always thought it was a mk3 set. I need a new bootlid lock but can't find the right one - all the ones i come across are the same as my G-reg mk4 and K-reg Sierra

The matching ignition and door locks fit the Escort so it's not as if they're bodged up, although the car's never had a boot lock for as long as i've owned it.

i'll stick a post up in the wanted section as soon as i know what it's off!

Yeah, it's tibbe keys that my 90 Escort and 92 Sierra have. I'll see if i can find a boot lock.

Thanks for the info - i think it'll be easier to find a mk3 granada lock as opposed to the mk4 one. Do you know if it'll fit?

It's just the boot lock i'm needing.

I'm not sure if the locks can be taken apart and rebuilt with a different combo like the tibbe ones - i would doubt it looking at the shape of the key.

The tibbe lock will fit in place of the chubb one

I'd rather try and find a Chubb boot lock to match the doors and ignition if it's possible to change the sequencing in them.

If not, Tibbe all round
