Default Advice needed on converting a MK2 Focus RS to 5 seats

I've now sold my Impreza, and in the position to start looking for a focus RS. I need to have 3 belts in the back. I've read and been told that a standard 3 seat rear bench will fit and to use the double buckle at the same time. My main concern is getting the vehicle checked by VOSA. Will they need to see reipts for the parts used? Do you think they will allow you to use used parts or will they need to be new parts?
Thanks for any help, Paul

Why do Vosa need to check it? If I was doing a mot on a car it would just be test as presented.

Not in terms of the mot it won't matter what is on the log book.

Test as presented.

Insurance might be something to look into though as it will be a modification

Spoke to Boncaster and Need2Insure and they were fine with the mod. Been on comparison sites and there was cheaper quotes than the mentioned company's, but with the mod it maybe best to go through a specialist?

Have a read of this. https://www.gov.uk/change-vehicle-de...need-to-update

Shouldn't be too much hassle!

I would think the actual body shell (except the 1/4 panels of course) would be identical to a normal Focus, can't see Ford producing a different floor pan specifically for the RS.

Could you not get in a spot of bother should the worst happen, as you are carrying more passengers than the car is supposed to?
