Yeah as far as I have found they were only sold at London dealers and had something to do with the capital fm station of the time but that's about all I no so was just wondering if anyone else had any info at all ?

I was the original owner of the Ford Capital Escort LGP 763V in the pictures. Amazed it's still around! Now should it be of interest I have 2 complete sets of silver transfers/decals for the side panels of the vehicle. Still in A1 condition. Also I have a locking petrol filler cap as good as new. It was definitely a special edition to do with Capital Radio, the font is the same on the rear quarter. Used to be Capital194 It was only on MW!

I still have 2 full sets of body decals for a red capital escort plus a Ford locking filler cap for this model. Also 2ltr tin of ICI Monarch Red for body. Probably some other bits and pieces as well.

I drove my Orchid Escort to Moscow in 1993. No problems on the journey
