Default Mintex M1144 pads,Cosworth, thoughts and experience with these

As above anyone got experience of the Mintex M1144 brake pads for a Sierra Cosworth.I have a new set here in a box, the newer type c tech pads by Mintex is what it states on the box.
These any good? Any feedback good or bad would be appreciated.

I've used these on quite a few track and road cars they are very good, getting hard to get hold of these days for some cars. You get a lot of brake dust off these but they work very well and don't need any warming up to make them work really well, can be a bit sqeeky in slow traffic, last quite well it's a high quality product.

Interesting replies, don't like the excess brake dust though.

Thanks. Lee.

i only used 1144's once, years ago

they were ultra hard and ate discs, but they lasted forever

maybe they've changed over the past 20 years though....

*bump*

Which discs would you recommend in combination with Mintex M1144 pads? (Sierra Cosworth 2WD 4 pots)

I asked Burton due to they carry the M1144 and response was as follows:

"Hello Marcel
We do not have any specific discs listed for use with these pads.
Regards
Sales Burton Power"

Does it mean non of the discs they sell is recommendable or it doesn´t matter at all which I´ll choose?

I need professional advice why I`m asking you my mates

If you are worried about dust you need to use bilberry cleaner and maybe some dragons breath every now and again and then just seal them up again with alloy wheel sealer, makes cleaning quick and easy.

1144's are my go to pad for everything, got them in all 3 of my cars, couple of track cars I've helped build and a few I've advised people to go for, not a single complaint so far and very reasonable prices for the perfomance.

as for discs, as above, ebc or national.
