Need help identifying my gearbox. What's it from?
I just had a 4 paddle clutch kit made up but stupidly got the clutch made for the wrong gearbox. Having to get the release bearing modified to suit.
I now know it's an old BC 5 speed box but no idea what model it's from. Is it an LSD?

Thats a non-lsd BC gearbox.
Without having codes its pretty impossible to say what from (and even then gearsets can be changed). But likely from an mk4 escort 5spd (so 1.3 through to xr3i) or something like a mk3 fiesta

If it's lsd the drive shaft holes will be see through I.e if you look on one of the holes for the drive shaft you'll see straight through the diff and out the other side, if it's non lsd there will be a bar going through the diff that you'll see if you look in the driveshaft hole.
