Default Its 'IN ' at last.

28 weeks ago I started on a refurb of my Sapphire. Underneath & mechanics. Thursday saw a big milestone the new engine in the car. Don't have a rebuild thread so have posted these pics on here. Probably another 28 weeks from completion but over 500 man hours to date.

Good luck with it, nice to see it still using a 200 block rather than an alloy one.

Im a retired man. Im prepared to spend 18 hrs a week to get this car finished to the standard it deserves. The most amazing stat is the 7000miles ive covered going over to Marks as its a 80 mile round trip. Its the journey that limits the hours I can work as its tiring at my age more so than the work. Im enjoying it. better than coffee at the over 60's club or slippers on watching daytime TV.

Or is it just going straight in the car and mapped in that?

Fair play Rod and 7k miles that in itself is a big commitment.
Its the last 10% that take 50%of the time....
