My mk5 zetec s has got some water when it rains getting in to the drivers footwell, i have looked behind the coolant bottle and there was no holes or anything and i dont know if there is any water drainage plugs that may be blocked. If anyone could hel that would be amazing, thanks in advance.

Couple of possibilities , Door seal rubbers is one and also lift up carpet and check that any floor grommets are intact and none are missing. Check inside engine bay to make sure all grommets in bulkhead are also intact and none missing. Water drainage plugs or slots are in the bottom of the doors and usually if these are blocked you will get water building up inside the door bottom not the footwell.

or scuttle panel letting in water around the pollen filter if you have A/C

do they have similar design to the MK1 focus?....i would go with this suggestion

With a water leak its a process of elimination, I am sure if he tries all our suggestions he will find the problem.
