Is200 seems to have come off a lot worse...

I still wonder how you can crash there, could go sideways all the way up that road and still not crash....

Just saw pics on Facebook with someone saying that it was the is200 that lost it,,

Do police not make any appearances there? especially with the amount of shite that always seems to happen!

thing is outside the cafe is beyond anyones control, council installed speed ramps but on a wet january night showing off in any high powered car = incident, I discourage and warn people to stay away from our birthday meet there each year if their agenda is larking about and make a point of inviting police along as guests

idiots ruining it for the rest of us as usual.

problem is the police tarr all us petrol heads with the same brush.

Its fucktards like this that will get our hobby more and more heavily restricted/banned.

and before some mong comes along and says "how dare all you preach when none of you were angels, you all sped when younger" etc - actually most of us were intelligent enough and not fucking retarded enough to drive like a cunt in a busy public place putting loads of innocent lives at risk...... and no you cannot compare it to speeding on an empty motorway late at night or messing about on a empty industrial estate. Its all about limiting your risk and knowing your limits, something which true petrolheads know how to do while chav racers and boy racers are incapable of doing so or deliberately choose to be cunts.

I was there, cunt kid in the Lexus kicked the back end out, over compensated too much and hit the parked toyota auris. The auris moved forward and hit the Cossie crushing the blokes legs who was working under the bonnet of the Cossie.

They had to push the cossie back to free him and carried him to the pavement. He didn't look in a good way as it was a fair old hit.

Had to look 4-5 times to see the car was is200 and not the cossie that hit the auris that hit another cossie. Confusing picture if you ask me!

The cossie looks like it had a fair big hit since it was pushed from another car.

It's crazy

I'm sure I've seen the cossie somewhere, that plate is instantly recognisable

Two broken legs from the info we've got at the moment, hope they throw the book at the Lexus driver

I was at the Meet at the Cafe lastnight. The IS200 thought he was Ken Block or someone infront of the crowd. Lost control coming off the island and hit the Megane. 2 People were working on the Saph for the last hour or so leading upto the accident (I was chatting to them not 20 mins before the accident happened) and the Megane then went into the Saph trapping one of the guys who owned the Saph (Father and Son) Kid driving the IS200 didn't look like he was old enough to get into a 12A film let alone drive.

As been said already yeah there were some idiots showing off driving like A$$holes but as usual not to do with the show/meet. There is CCTV installed now overlooking the island so it'll be caught on camera

thank you guys that were on scene for clearing the details up as 1st thought by many reading this was to blame the cossie owner, I had a call telling me what had happened by some of my watford pals on the scene as I have met the owner of the saph before as I never forget a number plate, as for the lexus driver my nan could drift her metro on a wet jan night so what was he trying to proove other than being a unsafe dick, I simply hope all incocent parties involved are ok

Sorry to hear about cossie driver! Under the bonnet at a car meet wow we have all been there, you don't expect some talentless idiot to smash into you.

It's one thing that you shouldn't even be doing it let alone the fact you don't have the talent to do it makes it even worse for me! Is200 one of the easiest cars to drift in my opinion and hardly powerful...

as in easy to control or easy to get a drift started? i've only been in one once before as a passenger and my only memory of the car was it was a bit cramped inside compared to other brands.

I hope the twat in the IS200 was insured as there are so many idiots driving with no tax, insurance etc these days.
Wish the bloke who got injured a speedy recovery.

little update re this, the owner of the saph who had his legs pinned up against the slam panel has not broken them and can only think he drinks a lot of milk to have such strong bones, but all the same other injurys are possible and he has large swelling on his legs and its early days yet

Seen a few conversations with regards to this incident on Facebook. Glad to read that the owner hasn't broken any bones, I hope his other injuries are minor: and that his car isn't too badly damaged.

Tinys dad here..I'm the person that got hit last night whilst working under the bonnet. I'm still in hospital waiting for the results from MRI scan, possible fracture to right leg and in severe pain with lots of cuts and bruises. But in better shape then the c6sye !!! Thank you for all your kind messages I will keep you all updated! Hopefully the actions of one person won't affect the fun for anyone else and won't give ace cafe a bad name as there are not too blame.. Pictures and video to follow thanks again.
