Map sensor Voltages

I've just rebuilt my cosworth engine and have changed to 803 injectors , 3 bar map sensor and remapped ECU chip to suit.

I am using non-genuine map sensor ie not (magnetti Marelli) as I have read horror story's about incorrect fueling damaging engines I wish to test all my sensors are giving the correct outputs.
I have a breakout box and Y lead so can access all the output voltages from sensors to the ECU.

Can anyone give me a chart of voltage against pressure for a 3 bar

Cheers Tim

If your using a BOB make sure you check it for voltage drop on live and earth sides when it's all connected up as you need to see battery voltage or your readings will be off!

I've not here'd that about the genuine map sensor?

You really need some form of pressure/vacuum source to test the sensor calibration. A mitivac is ideal

Handy to have in the garage to be honest. Good for bleeding brakes etc. too.

Hi Fraser

Many thanks for the map sensor voltage chart

I have got a good quality workshop boost gauge and I use my cooling system pressure tester to give pressure.
I may make a permanent link to the relevant ECU wire so I can check it on the road with the boost gauge connected and a Mate taking readings
Cheers Tim
