Default Best Ford barn find?

Well, ok I knew it was there.

But Escort WRC would be mine.
This is the first time it has ever been washed or out of the workshop for 4 years.
Still work in progress

Harks back to the days when you could watch WRC and then buy your favourite from the show room.
unlike the made up cars of nowadays.

Had so much fun in my Tommy mak.

Love the pic of the front end.

I'm about to start on a similar story, but with an Escort Kit Car

Looks great out in the light Mark. What kind of stage is it at now?

Oh wow. I think last time I saw an update for it, it didn't have a gearbox!

Is it a Skyline box? What diffs are you using? What kind of gearing have you managed to get?

Would be interesting to see a full spec for the car if you get a couple of minutes!

Very cool car!

My effort,
BMW E32 735iL, Bought it for €200 (£140ish).... Fresh juice and a battery and drove it home.

Sadly had to sell it as road tax was €1809 for the year!

Quick wash a polish later,
