Default anyone recommend a garage to repair crashed mk2 escort in central Scotland

Hi

I recently had an accident in my mk2 escort and it has been taken to the insurance company repair centre. They have assessed and quoted for the repair and it has been approved but they don't want to do*the work now as it will take up to much manpower.*My insurance have asked me to choose a garage to Carry out the work.*The car needs a new front panel, ns wing, and bonnet and the ns inner wing and chassis rail repaired.*Anyone recommend somewhere in Fife or central Scotland that could do the repair.*

Cheers

Not from that neck of the woods, but I've heard nothing but praise for this place.

Thanks guys I'll look into heyautos, where are they based.

The repair estimate is approx 5500 just now and they value the car at 13000 so I don't think they are keen to right it of.
Cheers.

Heyautos is just a website to find companys etc i think,,, the company in that link is called "gibby's spraying services", if you have Facebook search for that on it, he uses that to advertise etc! Also he is based in Falkirk

Default cost

given the labour cost etc and unwillingness of the repairer to perform it would be worth while going to your insurer and asking them to pay via pro forma invoice-you will recieve the estimated cost of repair inc labour etc less the vat element
that way car is not written off and you can shop around for a repairer/parts to suit yourself...

Gibbys Spraying Services in Harthill would prob be your best bet,

I'm not sure how much he does with accident damage but a very good body shop from what I've seen

I'm going to try a few places and see what they say,
trying to get a copy of the report and quote from the garage that has the car.

I don't know if insurance company will pay out the price of the repair to me I'll need to phone them.
I could do a lot of the work myself.

Cheers

+1 for Gibby he is the man and I'm pretty sure he is doing some insurance stuff just now.
He fully painted my mk1 focus rs when I had it and was a top job.
Give him a call mate he's a great guy.
