broken locking wheel nut D:
hi guys, new to the forum and just wondering if anyone could give me any advice.. title is the issue. ive tried an erwin socket (erwin?.. irwin? whatever it is) with absolutely no luck. the things so far gone theres nothing to bite on becuase all thats left is practically a semi-circle.
i dont want to risk a hammer and chisel for fear of damaging my alloys unless there is absolutely no other option, any ideas would be great thankyou!
p.s dont ask why there is two locking nuts on each wheel.. previous owner.
i just want a set of four standards on after this episode.
(i know my alloys need a refurb, they were bought like this so no bad driver comments please.)

I used these when my key broke, got all 4 off within the hour. The hardest part was getting the tool off the bolt after it was removed.
However looking at the pics, your kind of stuck. If all else fails and your going to damage the wheel I would be looking to grind off the back of the wheel stud and smack the whole thing through the front

I had to get a butchered one off my Daughters car and did the same thing. I had to really force the socket over it with a lump hammer but it gripped and undid fine with no damage to the thread or wheel.
