RWD Saff values?
As per my other thread, struggling to find any for sale. Mods note this is not a for sale thread, trying to establish current market values for insurance reasons!
What's the values like these days? Straight car, original panels and paint, no rust, owned by me for 19 years, garaged every winter, first reg 1/8/1989, 102k from new.

hard to say nowerdays as cossies command daft money in my opinion any cossie over 5k is dear unless massive spec as lets be honest they are not that great of a car, but the demand is there so the prices rise and if i am being honest i would have another in a heartbeat there is just something about them lol

cossie fan (unluckerly)
Rs owners valued mine at 8 and I'd say mine is good condition but there's far better out there. I've been offered 10 for it a few times but God knows what it would sell for if I advertised it.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
It's the best cossie by far and there's fewer good ones left than you'd think, sold my last one for 9.5k and one before that for 7.5k, my current car would be close to 10k if I sold it but hopefully this one is staying.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Id expect around 8k if its spot on.
It may be worth you getting in contact with Marc McCubbin, the RSOC registrar for the Sapphire Cosworth, and explaining the situation and providing lots of photgraphs pre accident and he may be able to provide you with something more solid to tell the insurers rather than just us guessing on the internet.
