Cossiemainful 20-11-2014 08:24 AM

Would know the durability, too. Bet the most are not long enough in use to allow a general assessment.....

gcfcos 20-11-2014 08:57 AM

I know u gotta be carefull of the Chinese copy's. My mate put one on his and ran like a bag of shit :-(

Harryh24 20-11-2014 09:10 PM

yeah I saw those ones from brands hatch but no idea how good they are or aren't, pretty good price and apparently they check all before they get sent out.
if you get one let us know how you get on with it!

turbotrev 20-11-2014 10:37 PM

Don't do it mate, get a genuine Marelli one....

Cheers Paul

Are marelli not making them any more then? I must have been lucky to buy mine when I did as eBay was awash with them a couple of years ago

Really £200 i have 2 new ones sat in a draw......

Cossiemainful 21-11-2014 01:20 PM

Yes, price range is from 200 - £220 atm.
As we are talking about rare items. Saw a genuine TPS PF09 for £280.

costina 21-11-2014 07:17 PM

Ferrari want nearly £1000 for a pf09 as there fitted to the F40 and there are 2 on that engine the other is not as expensive but that don't fit a YB.

You could be lucky and get nos 3bar from lancia for sensible money.

I'm sure MSD could source a replacement for the future as a 4 bar would be great for us boost monsters:cry:

turbotrev 21-11-2014 08:13 PM

Good point, what ones are people using that need a 4 bar?
Do Marelli do one?

Cheers Paul

It's getting to the point were a 3 bar sensor a chip and all the add on's like wasted spark and launch control are almost as much as after market management lol
