After exploring the options on which zetec to fit in my mk3 fiesta for my turbo build, i decided to keep the lump thats already in there (1.8 silvertop)

Its a budget build, so far i have is a set of forged rods- modified to fit a set of vw/audi 1.8 20v turbo pistons, a set of pistons to suit, focus rs turbo and exhaust manifold and a rover turbo inlet manifold with adaptor plate, injectors and throttle body.

Next on the list are ARP rod bolts, head gasket and valve springs. Does anyone recommend what head gasket to use? And valve springs?

Apart from fitting the new pistons and rods, fitting an oil return and feed from the block and uprated valve springs- is there anything else i need to do to the engine itself?

Il get the engine built up and back in the car then il do a build thread!!

Would appreciate any advise!!

Im aiming for around 300bhp. Apart from valve springs, would i need to do anything else to the head?

Cams, port/polish, 3 angle seats, bigger valves ect or would i not need anything else to see the power im after using the parts i have?

Im also going to use an Omex 600 ecu
