BMW E91 wipers stopped working
 

Just driving along, was raining & had the wipers on auto and they suddenly stopped!

Luckily I was nearly home.

I've checked & there's no power to the motor, all fuses & relays are fine.

Seems like this is common problem but as of yet I can't find the problem.

Anyone else had this happen?

The car is a 2006 BMW E91 330d.

What with everything module controlled have you tried disconnecting the battery for a bit to see if it resets?

Yes mate I did try but still not working.

I'll see if I can get it looked at tomorow by an auto electritian

Does the rear wiper work.?
Front Screen wash.?

Does it think the bonnet is open?

I've had problems on E46 3 series BMWs where the little brown wiper relay in the plastic box on the N/S/F scuttle panel area sticks. Give it a tap and the wipers start working again.

Not sure if the later ones have the same relay or not but I thought it was worth a mention :DD:
