Default How far do people commute to work each day?

As of 2moz i gotta go about 110mile round trip, jus over hour by car or train so think il jus get the train as its more convenient (even if its 13.50 return ).

Anyone else got to travel a long way? Do your heeeed in?
Its not too long away so the time dont bother me at all, but i guess the money adds up, over 200bucks a month, but then again i was putting in 30quid a week when working local anyhow so no big deal i guess.

I travel about 105 miles a day nearly the complete length of the A13 and the complete length of the A406.

Pain in the arse but i leave at 4:15am and head home about 1:30pm so i miss most traffic.

Train is handy for me as i live by the station, and work is by the station, and rus hour traffic sucks a fair bit of cock, as does parking.

Uni was about 130mile round trip which I did 4 days a week for my final year but work now is about 30mins. Only trouble here is it takes forever as there are traffic lights everywhere.

Counted the sets in my previous job, 25 sets in 14KM's!

14 miles round trip

between 25 and 45 mins each way in car depending on time

then park car and get tram into town so another 10 mins

used to get bus from home but that soon wore off and i went and bought a car to take me there once the park and ride was built

parking is free as our company owns it
tram is free as i have a company travel pass
