Default Escort Cosworth - Steering wheel fitment- HELP!!!!

Hi All

Yet another quick job not going to happen. When I got my car it had an after market steering wheel on it along with other modifications but all the standard bits came in a big bag.....this is were my problems start. I think that there are 2 steering wheel bosses in the bag and I can't work out how it goes back together with the standard steering wheel. I have remove the horn power plate from the modified wheel boss and fitted it back to the standard steering wheel, does the wheel then just push on the shaft and get held in place with the nut. There appears to be a plastic ring (?) on the shaft that get pushed out of shape if i do this? Then theres all the bits of wire I have for the horn switch

Anyway you get the picture any help would be much appreciated ...

Thks Malc

Like he says there m8
just screw on the plate which is held on by 3 screw( take this off the old boss) and then it just drops down onto the thread and do it up
There is no seperate boss with the ESC steering wheel

Ok thks Chris...But does the thread have a white plastic spacing ring around the base when the standard steering wheel is used?? It just seems that this is getting squashed and not letting the wheel locate but it does look like a standard Ford part which is why I am struggling. I will get some photos done, probably a better way to check...

Thks for the help I know its not the most exciting topic

Cheers Malc
