Default Car stereos...

Hey ive been looking around and i think im going to buy an alpine cd player for my car... not the hugely expensive ones the ones around £150... what do you think of this one?? there are a few alpines around the same price but with very little difference.. i will look into getting an amp but right now i just want a decent stereo cos the standard one in my corsa is rubbish.

MaxTune RDS FM/AM Radio
Regulated 1-Bit DAC
MP3 & WMA File Playback
CD-R/CD-RW Compatibility
45W x 4 High Power Amplifier
Rotary Control
Detachable Facia
Amplifier Pre Out
2V Performance Voltage Pre Out
Bass Engine Functionality
Digital Electronic Volume Control
ISO Connector Ready
White Colour Display
Blue Key Backlighting

also im reluctant to pay £40 to have a stereo fitted... how hard is it to do by yourself?? or are there any websites that can give u guidance??

im also going to buy some decent front speakers for my car, i know i need to buy the speaker adaptors etc.. but apart from that would i have any problems doing them myself too?? and any suggestions on particular speakers would be good too

thanks xx

i have always had alpine except for one pioneer which broke, so Alpine are the
way to go. i paid 210 for mine, MP3/WMA green illumination,
go for a alpine with the sub out function, lot more control can be given that way,
that one you looking at probably has it

its literally just a case of pulling your old one out and seeing what wires you have then plugging then in the holes on the adaptor, you cant really go wrong.

get your stuff and have a go
