Default MS2 ECU - Too Cheap?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251480529329&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123
I'm after a MS2 - i've seen this one on ebay, he tells me they come fully assembled just without the case. I don't think you can even buy a kit for less than £200?

I checked out the feedback and the buyers who bought them and they all seem legit. The guy seems genuine in his emails too. But this just seems far too cheap.

Can anyone shed some light on something i'm majorly missing here?

Cheers

Rob

Could be a clone kit,There's shit loads about I'd only buy from a proper supplier.

And this is definitely a bad thing right? I want a nice Zetec turbo loom ready made for me. Does anywhere sell them. I can tackle wiring myself, but i'd prefer not to, if anything wasn't right i'd instantly blame my wiring.

I recommend microsquirt as its prebuilt with all the provisions for a zetec and a decent connector.

If you can get hold of a microsquirt v2.5 it has internal coil drivers as well.

If you need anymore help send me a pm.
Why wouldn't you get much help? It would still be the same as MS? Mega tune, tunerstudio, etc right? Neverheard of 2.5 though, plus microsquirt doesn't have the built in MAP sensor

just a copy of a megasquirt ecu, looks like a lot less components than an ms2.
crack on if you think it can do what you want, wrong of them to suggest it's an ms2 ecu (compatible or otherwise).

I thought that. When you read the details on the ad it looks like the same stuff as megasquirt. And comes with all the optional features as standard. Cool! But I doubt its worth running the risk on my new engine. Think I'll go extraEFI!
