sometimes you get the option of the speed awareness course of around 90 pound but no points on licence, think you can only do this once every 3 years though maybe wrong

3 points and iirc Ł60 fine, I don't think you will get the option of awareness coarse as you are to much of a percentage over speed limit, I think coarse is only 10% over limit max.

In my nip for doing 46 in a hgv on the a15 50 mph for cars 40 mph for hgv, it stated to be offered a speed awareness course you could be a max of 13mph over the posted limit and not been done within the last 3 years,Ł90 for the course and no points or Ł100 and 3 points! don't know if it was Ł100 because I was in hgv? But heard the fine has gone up from Ł60 to Ł100 across the board, Guess what one I chose!!

You may get offered a speed awareness course for about 90 quid. Worst case it's 3 points and oddly insurance companies don't seem to care less about a speeding conviction, even my ban for speeding caused no effect to my premium.

14 days for the NIP to be issued (not received). if a company or lease car they get 6 months.

True, my ban from 2012 made not a jot of difference to my insurance or the Mrs to have me as named driver.

When I was 19 I got caught doing 38 in a 30 and got offered the course, usually they do if your license is clean.
