Pretty low miles,1 prvious keeper.Nearly 400 horse,big brakes,perfect paint and rust free all in the sales pitch I may add.Whats not to like . . . .? ? White
I wouldnt pay that for it but Its going to tick some ones box.
Personaly I wouldnt want to spend more than 7k for another with most the bells and whistles.

A clean rot free low owners Saph is worth 8-10k all day long in my opinion. Engine work is a bonus. People pay 4-6k for a scruffy one and end up spending ŁŁŁ's putting it right.

No photos of the engine always annoys me

Also are the wheels actually Comps? I've never seen another set if they are. They look like Rondells to me?

People say "the prices of saff cossies are going up" when infact what they're advertised for & what the sell for is 2 different things!

How many do you see for sale at above average prices that get relisted time & time again!

The "cosworth" bit goes to people's heads.

That bloke had a decent MK2 RS2000 for sale and seemed reluctant to answer a genuine email asking some general questions about the car that werent answered by the description. I gave up in the end and car never sold then got relisted and was removed before end of auction. Couple weeks later he has this up for sale..... obviously a bit of a trader so doubt the car means anything to him but profit.

It also brings into question how genuine his description is.....

That is Charlies old car, went out the first day he bought it.
Not sure about the one previous owner, Charlie sold it it and it was then resold ?
Saw it on the road last year, still looked in very good nick.
Strange the car is in Birmingham, last time I saw it was in Norwich.

as has been said I'd rather pay good cash for a car that's in great nick than one you're going to need to throw a wallet at to get it to that condition. Is it fairly pricey - yep, but I'd always look at it that everything's negotiable.

clever bit of marketing if it get's noticed and posted to a load of enthusiast forums - no publicity is bad publicity

Apart from the fact its not a 1owner the mileage is probably a lie (most likely been clocked) and the engine was built 10years ago all be it by Harvey Gibbs but still 10yr ago

didn't say it was right, just that it's clever marketing if it gets people talking about it like we are now the guy prob doesn't really expect to get anything like listed price if the advert's not accurate.

If the car looks perfect to you why not make him an offer of what you think it's worth? If it's solid with no rust it has to be worth more than a rusty or patched up car?
