i think the mk2 focus is a very heavy car and thats its main problem, has the power and stability but a shitload of weight, drove a 1.8l focus when the mk2 first come out and i couldnt believe how slow it was, at the time all i could put it down to was that maybe it was an extremely heavy car

my girl friend is from Wolverhampton and I'm from wallington surrey . I would drive to her every Friday after work about 11pm and leave to go home Monday morning around 3am i did this for a year .my daily drive is a Nissan navara .the road is pritty much empty at this time .i would set cc at 130 mph and sometimes never had to switch it off most of the way .....I drove past police all the time never slowed down once ..I believe that I never got stoped was becouse I was only a danger to myself .i would never drive like that on a Saturday afternoon ....now I live in Malta where everyone is drunk and drives whatever they can fit an engine on to ...

D40 mate had it new in 06 .just under 200.000miles now . Such a tool of a motor .. When it dies I will have another one .. Best motor iv ever had .. Such power aswell . .. I don't no why but to me the navara has the best standard sounding engine 4x4 wise out there ??????

I do think this "set an example" sentancing is wrong. Theyve got a worse sentance than many repeat TWOCERs doing exactly the same ina stolen car and crashing it after a police chase........

Not condoning their stupidity for one second, but that does seem like a harsh sentence for what is essentially just speeding.

I've never understood the basis on which judges come to give out these sentences, there seems to be no consistency or benchmark at all. We are constantly hearing about terrorists walking free as its against there human rights and kiddy fiddlers escaping jail etc.

the RS is standard aswel.. 300hp at 1600ish kg eve has 270 at 1350ish kg so not really far off the same power to weight etc

I'd appeal it! Sorry yea they were speeding but on top of everythi g else 3yr ban what a joke a ban yeah but 3yrs!!! they will prob drive illegally now till they're caught or cone off ban!
I got a 3yr ban £350 fine 6wks in jail (served 3) and 18months in jail suspended should i get caught driving on my ban! It was 2000 i was 17 had only had licence few weeks (been driving since i was 11) i was 4times over limit judge said "at this time i was highest reading he'd heard of" i deserved it drink driving for wankers
