I have a mk2 as a daily, it's a golf gti with a big boot. Very practical, pokey, good on petrol, great dealers and cheap to run. Rides very well on the 17's
I'll have another, bloody great car for a good price
To look out for cambelt service, coil pack recall and metal bladed waterpump at cambelt service. Make sure the tracking/alignment is kept spot on. It's a golf/audi a3/a4/seat Leon
I had my mk1 vrs for 5 years and loved it,apart from the shit seats. Now i have a mk2 vrs in race blue, have lowered it,upgraded the stereo blah blah blah and i still hate the fookin thing some days. Can see it goin soon as the mrs wants a focus st
hmmm, so you prefer mk1. Seats will always have seat covers on as the dog will have to ride in it and I work in motor trade so most days I'm a bit grubby.
