never been a fan of ERST but on the other hand the FRST is a great fun car which handles great and looks good too with right touches

Disagree with that as I've had 2 mfi with pretty much no problems but the 1 efi gave me nothing but problems.

My Mfi was owned by me and my uncle for 18 yrs mfi 21 psi of boost and done 145k on standard engine and original turbo before a mate I sold it to put shit oil in it and spun a bearing.erst closer to a modern classic than a frst .

Beware the rot
Pull out the boot side trims
If paying good money get the interior 1/4 cards and front arch splash guards off too

Having owned and run an Escort Rs Turbo and Fiesta Rs Turbo run in parallel I too would disagree with your statement.

fun cars but i found the t2 turbo was too small and didn't its power delivery. The handling can be compared to a shopping trolly they don't come with a lsd and they are very light on the rear under braking/engine braking.

having said all that i still love them
