Pro Hoses
I decided to fit the hoses I bought from AS a few months ago, Is there any reason why all the coolant and auxiliary hoses are quite a bit chunkier than the standard and Samco hoses?
They are for the S2 RS Turbo all black, the boost hoses are the same thickness as the hoses being replaced.
Its a right pain in the backside as none of the standard Ford jubilee clips fit, I'm having to go through each clip and order 5mm bigger in order for them to tighten up enough.
Oh, and all these hoses(not boost) came with the logo.
Not a moaning thread, just curious.

Hi thanks for the reply, Yes they are great quality. Its good that they are thicker, However its a shame they failed to mention this..... This could be why they offer new clips to fit them?

Clips can be supplied as they are stainless clips and the fords are getting old now so old clips can be rusty.
Thy are thick because they are thick ply wrapped. No chance of them splitting.
