it is a good event but the main target of this is normally corporate rather than public hence being expensive

there are usually cash deals on the last day, but as above it's more high end/pukka motorsport than aftermarket bits

Its a good show to go to if your into motorsport, it premiers all the top companies and their skills if you go on trade days and or engineering days you can see the machines working too.

I go about every 4 years as very much changes year to year.

it's often on groupon to go on the sun afternoon for cheap which suits me as I only live 15 mins from the NEC.

Be at least Ł10 to park as well, probably more now, I haven't been for a few years but went every year from about 1997-till a few years ago.

In the old days, the live arena would have top-flight rally drivers (such as McRae/Sainz)... later years they had far less 'top names' in there.

Yes forgot about the parking ,and the food prices,went to essen motor show earlier this month (go every year) ,7 times bigger than autosport, free parking ,cheap food 16 euros to get in ,and a free live action you can walk into any time of day

Yeah i'll be there this coming year, it can get a bit samey but I find with any show having good company makes things a bit better, food prices are something company cant help though lol

I consider it a personal challenge to get on without paying the ridiculous gate fee

Found a display tv outside the ticket area on a rolling stand last year and pushed it to the gate with a story I was late delivering it to the ngk stand

Lol not only did I get in they escorted me halfway down the hall and stopped Ginge , Wenny and the lads to let me past !!!

It's open to the public on Sat.
It's a good show esp for competitors.
Not as much retail as regular shows, but discount can be had from some. But as noted would need to be sizeable to recoup ticket, parking & petrol..
