Mk1 focus rs rear beam. ( differences)
Wanna rebuild the rear beam on my rs and Polly bush it.
Heard then an arse to do so was gunna get a spare beam to build then swap em over.
Are they rs specific or they just an st 170 one with the spacers behind the hubs.
Cheers.

Basically, the bolts seize NOT into the threads, but into the metal inserts in the original ford bushes.. Meaning you have to carefully cut the bolt either side of each bush.. Lol
I was told
The rear beam itself is the same as any focus
The lower arms (pictured) and the 'trailing' arms that the hubs bolt to, are the RS specific parts..
You'll need;
All bushes, they won't be any good at all after you've taken it to bits.
A bolt kit from car parts express. Or ford.
A few saw blades and angle grinder bits lol
And, almost certainly, the rear brake calliper bleed nipples are usually seized in,
In the pic mine still has the old callipers on, they weren't refurbed as they had to be renewed. Lol.
Ps, yea I know the white bits are a bit brave. Lol

Can we confirm this. ??? What gives then the extra width.
I'm struggling to find any info really, about mk1s in general. And the rs owners club isn't exactly friendly or forthcoming. Think a lot of people on there just pay other people to do it.
