Need my car serviced aswell as replacing the cam belt and alternater belt. I have both belts,
I cannot get any garage to do this for me as there too busy or I cannot contact them due to my work hours .

I'm in pitsea Essex .

I will pay whatever you ask to complete this job,

The car is a toyota celica gt4 st205

Open 9-6, so could at least speak to them to see if it is an option. They are horrible cars to work on...which in itself may put some garages off if they are familiar with them.

Depends if you want pattern parts or genuine gear.With a car like yours id at least get a genuine timing belt and alternator belt and some decent oil.Imo any oil filter will do doesn't have to be branded but I don't think there is much difference in the price between the two anyway.If it was me drop it in with Toyota.

I bought gates belts bud , I appreciate the info buddy, looking for someone to come to me an do it as I work 7 days 7-5:30 and don't have anytime to fart arse about dropping it n collecting it while arranging lifts and. Shit.

Gates are good parts.If I was to supply a belt and fit it id say £100.You shouldn't be charge for fitting a fan belt because who ever does it is going to have to remove the old one to get to the timing belt lol.What oil do you plan to use.

I thought them belts were expensive lol, erm I don't no what oil buddy , I wouldn't no were to start, what oils would u recommend ... Do you get alot of work pal?

I do get a lot of work,im not rammed out every day.Its still a growing business with a lot of work a head of me.There is up sides and down sides to it.Anyway as for the oil what grade of oil are you using right now.Alot of people can recommend oils it would be a for ever going subject lol.

Never done a GT4 belt then i take it? lol!

does that include a cam cover gasket when you fuck it up and pull the tensioner pin and its a tooth out on the inlet??




from a PROPPER knowledgeable person who wont fuck it up, cambelt and engine service would be about £200 labour + parts

your asking for trouble with mobile mechanics,

seen so many fuck things up and drive off never to be seen again and YOU have to fix it!!

Im not like that Sean I do things properly.Or it aint worth doing it at all.It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to destroy it.And no I haven't don't a celica gt4

i am currently rebuilding a st205 gt4 and can vouch for them being a complete ball ache to work on, i would never dream of working on one of these on a driveway, its a hour job getting the engine mount of let alone the cambelt plastic covers

As above your looking at about 2.5hrs labour on the timing belt + 1.5hrs labour for the service
Approx £220 labour + parts & Vat(no vat if done away from garage)

Hate to say it but he's right I work as a mobile mechanic and I've corrected other mobile mechanics work! I seen sooo many pop up over the years and rip people ofc then vanish it's unreal! But there are some good ones out there.

looked after several GT4`s over the years from road cars to gpA/gpN cars and if you lads wanna do a cambelt for £100 fair play,

if you wanna back it up with your own wallets......... again fair play!!!

not everyone that gets in a performance car wants to smash its head in, belive it or not it gets boaring dealing with quick cars day in day out

and if it breaks while being spanked, the driver is liable

not had endless conversations with people about running issues, suspension change nightmares and general maintenance

workshop manager/ pit crew manager on events running GT4`s is no way to try and help, no sarcasm intended lol

Yeh it's me Sean!
My pal owns a garage and I've known him for over 17yrs and ive Been there when he has said come out in this and completly ruin an escos up the road same as skylines n that, this was about 5-6 years ago, I dunno weather he still does it now, hence why I'm not going to him
