it comes with those badges form the factory so there no 5.0 lump in the boot hiding away

Horrible thing, over priced over sized and not as fast as you suggest - had someone trying to keep up with me in one recently from 60 up through the gears was not as quick as he thought (when he couldn't pass a 15 year old Nissan).

I am a fan of quick bmw's but these are generally owned by twats.

Is this a joke? Lol

It's a brand new press car from BMW UK. It's a totally standard X5 M 50d, which uses a 3.0-lite triple turbo engine.

No one has swapped an engine or a badge - there's no 5.0-litre anywhere, that's NOT what the badge means! Lol

The badges don't really have anything to do with engine size! The 325/525d both use a 3.0 engine and so do the 325/525i petrol models! Both the 335/535i and diesels also use 3.0 engines and the 318/518d models are 2.0 engines! Weren't like the old days where the numbers actually designated engine capacity. 740d is also a 3.0 diesel

I very much doubt it was one of these models as this really was as quick as quick as both I and the figures suggest! Lol
